after the announcement of atlas to shut down their forum there were quite a few new members showing up here.
even if this forum is based on the same software as atlas used, there are some differences :
- this forum is privately owned and operated on a server in my appartement.
- availability in the past was approx 99.9%. though i can not guarantee 7x24 availability. there may be unannounced down-times.
- direct upload of pictures (that paperclip thingy on atlas) is an add-on software with a few security issues (it's easy to upload viruses...) that is the reason i will not enable it
- sending emails thru this forum had to be disabled to due some legal issues here in switzerland.
- registration requires to manually approve a new member. this might take a few hours up to a day. keep in mind you probably live in a different time zone.
other than that, please try to keep political/religious stuff out of this forum. also the usual rules of many forums are valid here as well.
it is allowed to announce new products.
there are no popups, no adds, no banners on this forum.
(so far also no sponsors...)

I do not remember how to post pictures... 
I don't think my photobucket is valid anymore aswell...
Maybe you could do a topic JUST about the HOW TO post pictures, with a step by step pictures and text in this section, as it will always be good for me...  |
