all turnouts are working now. even the fascia mounted controllers are in place. now it is possible to throw the turnouts using the dcc throttle or the pushbuttons

a few more lighted cars have been installed leaving 16 more channels of the light system. now i will figure out how to use the remaining ones. one or two trucks, few more cars. and maybe some fancy lights at the entrance of the town.

lots of containers have been placed by the crane and piggy packers. looks like a busy little terminal now.

yesterday work started on the connection between the layout and the working desk. this double track section will be used as a programming and speed matching track. but also to run engines and cars that need to be serviced to the area i work on models. the grade will be a whopping 4%. have to go down from 125 down to 80cm within 7meters. (50" down to 32" within 21ft). after that i will start construction of the second end of the layout. once finished i will be able to have trains continuosly running. well, after wiring at least. so stay tuned ! winter and holidays are comming ! expect a lot of progress.
