work continued at least on one of the redbarns. now the first unit is ready for the decals. but it also needs a bit more body work before it really fits the latest kato sd40-2 drives. mainly because the underframe and tank is one piece. also the trucks seem to be a tad wider than the older ones. should not be an issue.
yesterday work started on a petro canada station. it had to fit an area between the restaurant , some main street buildings, the track and the main street. actually rather small. the fuel station had to be able to serve cars and trucks and even feature a small shop.

of course this building needs some more work. the roof is not yet glued in place. some weathering, decals, and of course the shop needs an interior.
at least the restaurant is coming closer to completion. just the sidewalk needs to be painted. there's light inside along with approx 20 customers. this used to be a kato building. inside is painted and populated. also some weathering was applied.
