finished the two soo line gp30 all decals applied, some medium-to-heavy weathering. after polishing the wheels i had to apply some tiny drops of oil to one of the units. quite amazing. these units had been in their jewel cases for more than 10 years. and they run smooth as silk. excellent pulling power.
these two gp30 are from the very first run from 1992 when kato built these locos for atlas.
next in the queue are a few more f40ph for via rail. all 5 have been sandblasted and primered by using undercoat light gray. then 3 of the units received their fancy renaissance paint. also the black roof has already been painted. now these 3 units wait for decals while the other two wait for masking.
