this week i had a few hours to work on the horseshoe area. after cutting it to shape last week, i finished all the tunnel portals. then i started covering the styrofoam with the usual putty. while still dry grass has been applied by using a modified noch grassmaster.
freshly planted grass. tunnel portals in place, not yet completely painted.
the whole horseshoe area. right side stil raw styrofoam
this is how it looks sunday 09:43 am
my famous "pampe" aka putty
applied directly onto the styrofoam
next shot sunday 10:06am. you see, it is a quick way of building landscape.
at 10:12am grass had been applied
then i worked on the part towards the fascia. same procedure as you can see above. timestamp : 11:01am
overview of the whole scene. shot at 11:03am
now the landscape needs to dry for a few days before trees can be planted.
in the meantime i finally added the missing landscape on my bridge between nelson yard and the main layout. again, some putty, some static grass, a few trees (didn't wait for the putty to dry...)
