For being kind enough to invite us here!

I live on the south shore of Montréal, Canada.
Around here, there are more CN and VIA then there are CPs. My favorite paint scheme is the sergeant stripes CN, tought I really like the CP "pacman" colors aswell as the original Via's. My favorite era is the late 70's early 80's.

If you like trains, it is trully difficult to not like them all!
I've been N scaling since I was 12, that was 20 years ago!
Lately, I have been working on a very special project, the creation of my own toy trains hobby store: LA STATION BELMONT.

I will try to take the time to read you all. This is the idea of getting "in touch" with other having the same disease, N scaling!
Anything new, anything different, all for the great world of small trains, any scale to!

Don't hesitate to write to me at all, even in french, as it is my first language. The name is: Jean-François Chaput alias CNCPVIA

I forgot to say a bit more about me!

I am 33 and I work for the city of Longueuil (Montréal's south shore's largest city) as a diesel mechanic on public transportation buses.

I have a wife and 3 children... none of them are interested in trains what so ever, except for a trip!

I spend at least 1 hour a day working on my N scale world or trying to get train informations. I work by night, so I always have all my afternoons alone to get things going.

Other passions? OH yes! I have 3 old cars, Plymouth FURY II 1973 completed at 80% into a RCMP police car.
I also have a completly original Ford GRAN TORINO 1973, still on its nylon tires!
Finally, a Pontiac LAURENTIAN 1959, which needs a lot of love!

I play a lot of baseball, a bit of american football and hockey.
Hockey?!!... well, YES... I am canadian!
