I know who I am calling on to weather my coal gondolas!
The weathered ones look the best.
The only thing I would change is the wheels to 36" FVM wheels.
Do you have one of the red ones weathered yet?

not yet.... this was a quick-and-dirty weathering job. took less than 3 minutes for 7 cars ...

changing wheels. hm... guess that's a costly task for roughly 200 cars...
