due to a rock slide (aka tools
) both main lines are closed until the track gang cleaned up the mess and repaired the track.
until then trains are filling up the yard. even 'the canadian' is beeing held up

ok...there are 6 tracks in the yard. train length is determined by an assumed average car length of 12cm/5" and 3 sd40-2 or 3 ac4400.
these are the approximate capacities of the tracks :
- 33 cars
- 37 cars
- 40 cars
- 40 cars
- 70 cars
- 72 cars
giving a total capacity of :
- 6 trains
- 18 engines
- 292 cars
currently i am able to run two trains at the same time. once the crossovers are done an additional train will be en route.
