most of july and summer 2022 is over already. some really hot days, few thunderstorms, some rain. seems like the perfect temperature for all the plants to grow like crazy.
therefore i spent most of the time doing garden work. again little time for my trains.

all i did in the last 4 weeks is installing a decoder in a non-dcc sd45, mounting the backdrop along the long incline on the north end of the layout. not easy to install a piece of paper 3x24ft.... but went quite ok.
yesterday i started landscaping that area. some styrofoam has been glued in place. today one of the many tunnels in this area was also put in place. most likely shaping the styrofoam will start in the next two weeks. so stay tuned !
