since it will take at least 3 more months before i can start work in my new train room i spent a few hours reworking the buildings. when i built all the houses of my former layout i used light bulbs. some of them burned out, some of them burned holes in the buildings

taking these plastic kits apart again is not easy. the glue seems to hold really good. all buildings have interiors with lots of people glued in. i have to take care to to cause too much damage. installing led lights and reassembly is the smaller part of the job. so far 27 buildings are upgraded. few more to come.

once done i will start to solder track feeders. guess i will do approx 500 pairs....
