been spending some time planting grass, bushes, trees on the remaining area of the setup yard part of the layout.
also the street cafe received tables, chairs, people enjoying a drink. i installed a few colored led to provide fancy lighting for the night.
so far all lights are wired and in working condition. a few channels are unused yet. have to think about, where to add more light or other effects. we'll see.
next will be final wiring of the turnouts. mounting servos, dcc controlers, frog feeders and checking of all the tracks and such. once everything works as intended i will most likely cover the whole area to protect it from dust (and "storing" tools on top of the layout). |
