I think it would be really cool if you'd split this forum into "O scale" and "O hirail". I really don't enjoy reading about all the tinplate stuff and tinplaters probably don't want to read all the 2-rail stuff.

Please let us know if you can do this.

definitely no more o scale here. instead i have 26 g scale locos and 65 cars. this includes a live steam shay....

That is what I said at one time but now I have a n and O gauge layout. I love them both, now I wrestle with do I want to make the n smaller to build the O bigger, can't do it now but maybe after this comin rebuild I mite build the O bigger. maybe I need a bigger basement.

as soon as my digital camera is here i'll take some pics...


anyway, i will not buy any other o scale model. n scale is my main scale but with some g scale stuff to play with.

Its all starts with that first piece, then snowballs from there. that how it started with mine. Man now that big boy is a first piece, that dog must be on your trophy shelf.

all i have in o scale is a mth (?) brass big boy...
guess that doesn't qualify to be a o scaler....
