built a small HO layout to keep me busy in the hobby while i redisign my nscale layout, heres soem pics of the layout, its a point to point switching layout with a town and a small yard

still a work in progress, but its getting close, its built out of modules so i can take it apart and move it if needed, measuers about 9 by 9 at the moment, still planning to expand a bit for more yard space and added industries off the town module, but keeps me active while the nscale layout takes shape, enjoy the pics

Whoever said you had to grow up never had a train set growing up

i bought one a while ago from woodland scenics, it works ok, not the best for cutting soem foam when its glued together, its messier, but faster to carve it with a knife, drywall rasp and drywall saw

the clean up sucks, but its fun making a mess

Hey SD !

I was looking at your picture where you had cut foam for your mountain...
I would stongly suggest that you buy a HOT WIRE foam cutter!

It is sooooo much easy to cut foam AND A LOT LESS MESSY!!

Finished with all the small pieces of foam everywhere!

Around 20$ in any hobby store.

Your small switching HO layout make me jealous...

Just for the fun of switching!

started moving my HO layout into the main train room with my nscale layout, im glad i built it in movable tables would have been a pain to move otherwise

things are progressing nicely on both layouts

just finished school after 2 months so time to go back to work and then i can start building on a budget again

having no money is no fun, puts a damper on the train progress
