There are some interesting details about the China factories in this article from Rapido. You may have seen it but I had not.

I am interested in these new Amtrak F40s that have just recently been announced. I've never owned a Rapido locomotive, so I don't know how they run. Do they have can motors, or open-frame? Are they 16V maximum, or are they 12V like Kato? Do they do OK when MU'd? How much maintenance do they need?

Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

These are to be re-sell in my small hobby store.

HO scale is still the most popular scale.

I have been an avid N scaler for 24 years now, but HO is still the best seller...

Having said that, N scale has the biggest grown in popularity.

Well, well, well...
I know, this is a CP forum, but we can discuss about CN aswell !

I have just received the first batch of CN GMD-1

Finaly, a prototypical CANADIAN engine in HO scale...
Not in brass at 800$ undecorated...
A plastic model with as much, if not more, détails to the engine!!

I have tested one with the SOUND decoder in it...
INCREDIBLE !!
This is a really great engine, I tought you might like to know !

If I can tell you something about the RAPIDO trains is that they are trully wonderful !!

Just got the wide vision CP cabooses... WOW !!

And what about the FP9s A and future B.

GREAT details, sound, lighting options, marker lights...

Maybe more expensive, yes, but worth all the money !
