Hello fellow modelers. Recently, I got a Union Pacific EMD DD40AX in HO scale. Of course, like most beginners, got into the tight curve situation. Let me tell you, a DD40AX will NOT run on a 18" radius. But… it will run and pull perfectly on a 22" radius. So, for anyone planning to buy one of these monsters, please consider checking your track radius.

No. Unfortunatly, I don't have any pics. And I never thought of how it looks. Possibly because I have a floor layout. Check these videos I posted. Perhaps you can see if overhang affects its appearance.
