decaling is done, adding hundreds of thousands of detail parts is done... now these units just need some weathering before final assembly occurs.
still missing :
- weathering
- glass
- couplers
- decoders

OOOOOHhhhhhh...
What is the manufacturer of these shells, if it is not KASLO?
You wrote that they were sitting on KATO SD40-2 chassis, am-I correct?
The trully look wonderfull!
I did built 2 CN SD50 and SD60 from Kaslo shells, a lot of work, but worth all the efforts!
I wish I knew how to post pictures!!

YES that is my engine!
That was the second one I have builted. I am far from an expert... and it took me about 10 hours of hard labor to built it. Lots of nice, but fine details to put on, paint, decalling...
Once you are done with it, you have all the satisfaction of the work well done everytime you run it! Plus, it is a unique piece to see run because you don't see them to often in shows.
It is also DCC and sound equipped!
