played with my trains a few hours last week. unfortunately it seems the layout has warped a bit as i had a few derailments. always in the same spot. i didn't want to work on the track instead i took a few kato rdc's out. since i installed decoders these units didn't run as good as before. some of them wer just jumping on the tracks. after some testing with different decoder programming they finally run acceptbale. as long as 3 or 4 are coupled together they really run good now.
i doubt i will rebuild that section. always had problems in that curve with sd40-2 but with no other type of engine. strange. instead i'm still searching for a larger hobby room which i can afford to rent. once found this will mean a complete new layout.
