I'm looking to do a Canadian #1 or #2 with 3 new F40's. I was wondering what have you guys used for your VIA Budd cars? Also can you post pics.

hello nick

i'm currently working on another 'the canadian' ..... i use kato zephyr sets. remove the lettering, paint the blue stripe and reletter the car. oh, underbody and trucks will be sandblasted and painted black.

YES, I did the same thing.

It is the closest in N scale of VIA Rail budd cars.

And with the electrical pick-ups from the wheels, you can also get awesome interior lighting !

I will post the HOW TO light your interior with some thing different then the original Kato system. Much more lights as ALL the lenght of the car will be lighted for about 2$ a car... which is also the same amount of money for the Kato system!
