hello y'all

last wwr for 2013. another interesting and intensive year comes to an end. didn't count them but i think i wrote quite a few wwr with tons of pics and project reports.
nothing different this time. since last week i finally finished a few more custom detailed and painted units. dme 6095 needs a tiny led for the nose lights, dme 6056 needs couplers, hlcx 6202 needs its cab straightened. still, i hope you like the pics of the models i've been working on for quite some time.

Just in time for Christmas, I have received my first batch of CANADIAN NATIONAL POINTE SAINT-CHARLES CABOOSES!!

They are trully fantastic little pieces of N scale canadian modeling.

They come equipped with metal wheels for electrical pick-up.
The interior is lighted and like any RAPIDO TRAINS equipement, you can activate the red markers on each ends separately with the "magnet" wand.
Couplers are Micro-Trains...

The only thing is that if you are on DCC, the LEDs are way too bright.
I used a BLACK pen marker type to give a more realistic shade with the interior...
They now look a lot more realistic, just need to ad some weathering to them.

Same duo, with some distance, we see better the difference in the lighting between the two.
