CP's Boonybrook bridge across the Bow River collapsed this morning while a train was crossing it, 5 full and 1 empty tanker are stuck on the bridge. The Bridge is at the southend of Alyth Yard on the Trans-Con line. All road bridges across the Elbow and the Bow river were inspected after the flood waters subsided a bit. The railway bridges fall under Federal jurisdiction; so far there are no reports/confirmation that the rail bridges were inspected. NOT GOOD!
