been away from home most of the week. not too much progress on the layout. currently i'm still hooking up servos to turnouts, installing tamvalley servo decoders, adjusting enpoints and such.
done so far : - all 17 turnouts of the setup yard have servos installed - 7 turnouts have decoders installed and adjusted - 1 turnout has a powered frog
hopefully i find more time today to at least have the frogs powered of 6 more turnouts. this would make the via rail part of the yard fully functional. this morning i tried to adjust a swingover (two opposite turnouts to enable switching from one track to the other). once it finally worked the decoder went kaputt. no more programming possible. oh well. had it replaced quickly. works again. i also poured the base for the road, parking and possibly a few more building.
