been working on the engine facility/city area recently. first i installed the dividing wall. if you're working at the facility you'll see little to nothing of the busy mainstreet of the city.
if you're taking care of the passengers arriving/departing the city you'll see nothing of the hard work in the yard
work on the city finally started as well. foundation for the central part of the town has been poured yesterday while the east end was made today. if you wonder what it is ... it's real concrete ! powder like concrete mixed with water so it will flow around and level itself. you just have to make sure any holes,gaps and such are sealed. otherwise you'll have a real mess out of real concrete.
once dry it will be sanded and painted. buildings will be glued on pieces of sidewalk and then glued on top of the concrete. a few holes for all the wires, street lamps, trees and it's done. stay tuned...
