more wiring, more wiring, more wiring, running out of wire, more wiring, more wiring, replacing led, more wiring.
so far 79 of 119 channels are connected to a total of approx 140 led ! why this uneven number ? well, contact point 1 on module 1 is broken :-)
large buildings such as the via yard have a 3-led strip. other buildings along the mainstreet have at least 3 individually controlled led. best western hotel has a total of 17 led !
then there are street lights. cars (4 led each, one channel) , trucks with trailers (6 led each, one channel).
all in all it is a lot of work and uses many feet of wire.
what's to come :
- 4 more buildings with a total of 18 led
- more cars and trucks
- restaurant with chairs, tables, guests and maybe some fancy lights
- flag stop for train passengers
- landscape around buildings 13-16 and best western
- details, details, details. such as pidgeons.
have to figure out a visitor activated action of some kind. (on the winter scene of the layout visitos can start light and smoke at santa clause home. running for 2 minutes). not sure yet, what i will build. maybe push-button activated city sounds, car crashing or something else. |
