wow...time just flies. a full two months passed since the last wwr.
what happened in the meantime ? - holidays (twice) - lots of gardening done - some wiring installed on my n-scale layout - some turnout motors installed - first dcc decoder for turnouts installed, including powered frogs - lots of honey-dos
last few days went into building a new bridge for my g-scale layout around the house. decided to build a typical wooden trestle this time. spent a few hours cutting up all the necessary wood. decided to use keboni. a specially treated wood which (used as a terrace) should hold up to 50 years before rotting. well, even it it just holds just 30 years i will be long gone before the trestle turns into earth again.
here some first shots of the different parts. just test-fitting.
