already two more weeks gone. just incredible how time flies. in the meantime i received my custom backdrop from trainjunkis.com . outstanding work done by william prusso. will order more stuff from him. placing a 2x30ft piece of paper on a wall is not an easy taks without damaging the print. but it really looks fantastic. will post more pics as soon as there is more foreground done.
until then i will work on the layout construnction. add a few braces here and the to make the whole thing stiffer. but also to provide more mounting points for the soon to come fascia. once the fascia is mounted i will be able to fill all those caps with styrofoamm to finally start forming the landscape. i hope there will be quite a few hills and trees done by the end of the year. i will also plan an build a few cabinets that go under the layout for storage purposes. not sure yet when and how.
