some more work done. now all tracks in the yard area are ballasted. at least in the center and south end part. north end is not ready for ballasting yet. i first have to lay some track and install a few turnouts. in the meantime i placed some rolling stock in the yard to check how it looks.
i also started building base scenery along the engine facility, around the 3-track 180-curve towards the future town of banff. this part of the track has been ballasted as well. a total of roughly 30ft. soon i will run out of ballast and scenic glue again. today there was quite a bit of action around the facility.
then i played around with some buildings. test fitting the city scene of banff.
