work continued between the large engine facility and the upcoming town of banff. first i had to find a way to install a bridge leading into town. after fiddling around with styrene i ordered a pikestuff/rix highway overpass. after just a few days the kit showed up. quick assembly, test-fitting, adding more scenery and the bridge is in place. not even painted !

i then started working ont the large spot inside the 180 degree curve into banff. test-fitting a few buildings. not sure yet if i really like this setup.
the denny's looks quite nice in this spot.
a seven-eleven close to the main street seems to be a good place.

today i finally added ballasted to a few more feet of track. i just noticed there are only approx 200ft of track left for ballasting. will be happy when it's done.
